Thought for the day…

Week of Dec. 9/ Dec. 15, 2018

Second Sunday of Advent    / Feast of San Juan Diego

Sun, Dec. 9      While the body needs bread, the heart needs love. It is Christ who has revealed to us that we are all children of a Father who love us and who wishes to satisfy our hunger for love.

Mon, Dec.10     In God and with God, I love even the person whom I do not like or

even know. This can only take place on the basis of an intimate encounter

with God, an encounter which has become a communion of will, even

                           affecting my feeling.
